Kids These Days

"Kids these days" yeah what?

Kids these days WHAT?

Remember the times when you were caught

For some mischief you did, and suspension was what you got

But it didn't matter, "I'm a loser" is not what you thought, 

And no we don't inflict it on ourselves, it's you who do it, and you do it a lot,

You had a wide range of things to do, but here without trees, we gotta rot,

I have a good range of comebacks, wanna pick from the pot? 

Let's start off, a kid in love, or having a crush,

Is wrong, it's wrong to have a hormone rush,

If we talk about it then "HUSH,

DON'T TALK ABOUT LOVE YOU'RE A KID", yeah turn your kid into mush.

A kid watching a kiss is wrong,

But watching his own parents fight for long,

Would apparently make them "Mentally strong",

There's so much with adults that's horribly wrong.

If we talk about our mental health, we're doing it for attention,

Heck they start fuming at its cursed mention,

Have some chill boomers, we're diffusing the tension,

No wonder anxiety's on the ascension.

Don't tell me what I'll think about this after 10 years,

I'm speaking for everyone, yeah teens, you got my cheers,

People should know that we work to live, life is not to handle careers,

Or to go and check on others, and compare your kid to your peers.

These aren't my problems, not most of it at least,

But for the ones that face it, I'm ready to preach it like a priest,

Please be a safe place to your kids, not a beast,

Everyone needs to be happy, not bred to rise like yeast.

I'll end it by saying that you just have to change with times as well,

Because whether what you did was right or wrong, time will tell,

And to the ones that PHYSICALLY abuse their kids for things (mine don't, I just get a spell),

For physically correcting something that mentally affects an innocent, see you in hell.
