Keeping The Fear At Bay!

How do I show,

What I've kept hidden for years?

How do I show

All the silent fears?

I'm running out of breath,

I can't believe it's so hard to breathe,

My heart's pounding in my chest!

I know I am not the only one feeling this way,

Time is ticking and life is moving,

I'm having trouble,

Keeping the fear at bay,

Its hiding and unmoving!

My life flashing before my eyes,

Each day the darkness consumes my heart,

Knowing all too well,

Struggling to keep myself from falling apart,

Moving forward in this life,

Looking for sunshine on the gloomiest day!

I'm living in fear,

I don't know how to control these emotions I feel?

I'm trying my best to stay in your grace,

Every day through the fear I face,

But it seems like worldly temptations never end!
