Is This How Life Goes On?

In the midst of this turbulence 

Life weeping with chaos 

A smile, healer so immense

Is this how life goes?

I don’t want to squat down alone

It curbs my smile to the blink of awe

Trying to socialise with more than one

But is it really worth for a reality,

Yes, a reality so raw.

The web of the truth around 

Traps me, my senses then nowhere

Could be found,

The shudder in the tears for reasons

Infinite,

The blanch lips and sunken cheeks 

Await for a glimpse of light.

For the biggest tragedy 

Is the race we all belong to.

The intentions pretend unfair

The words spoken by some 

Lets our conscience go haywire.

When the people so close

gift words sewn with thorns 

Even the roses as sweet as honey 

melts the fuse of the emotional circuit 

To make us warn.

Is this how life goes on?
