INSIDE OUT Of A TREE!

It was the dawn of an early Summer day

A young plant stood looking at the Sunrise with rapt wonder!

It was about to experience its first Summer!

It shook its leaves merrily as the first of the Summer breezes caressed it!

Its branches grew long and wide, as if eager to touch the sky.

It danced to the rhythm of chirping birds and buzzing bees.

As it stood tall and proud, displaying its bright foliage, it thought henceforth

"This is Life and its so beautiful!"

As the first drop of monsoon rain touched it,

Its initial astonishment turned into utter joy,

It embraced each drop of rain with fervour , like a child in the rain for the first time!

It grew greener with every shower of pure bliss and it thought

"Life couldn't get any better", little did it know, it could get worse!

The inevitable winter came, bringing with it the harsh winds and the stinging cold.

The tree saw the world turning dull and gray,

Seeing thyself turn bare and ugly

It felt anger and desolation, for It thought. Why me?

With each passing day,

Numb and lifeless outside ,

Yet stronger from within ,for it had hope in the heart of its hearts!

A beacon of light, Hope of what it didn't know.

It held on.

Hope was all it had.

Its hope finally Lifted with the first braces of Spring in the air, and it waited.

The spring did arrive bringing with it all the joys of life!

The tree enjoyed every breath of summer breeze, each ray of sunshine

And every drop of rain with renewed spirit.

Then, it was time for the winter again.

But this time, it was ready for it and thought,

If there is no winter, "the spring wouldn't be so pleasant!"
