I Have Me

It had been sometime

I spoke to myself

I just listened to others

Forgot about myself

As I see everything around

I realise it's just myself that I have to count.

It's been a lonely world 

For so long

Happiness, joy is a past thing

I see only tears coming along

But still, you have no one to share

All stay away even if they care.

The only companion 

That stays with me

Is myself

Struggling, hoping, moving

That someday we all shall meet.
