Friend

I wondered, and wondered, 

Like I kept on wondering, 

Behind the empty chair in the park,

Under the tree's shade quite dark! 

Between the narrow lane in the city, 

Beside the thick garden quite bushy! 

Preferring silence,

Rather than pour out words reflecting emotion, 

With an aspiration,

Of someone designating me as a friend! 

Afar from this world prone to behoof, 

Where friendship doesn't need any proof!

It takes only one word - 'genuine', 

For a friend to be by all means 'mine', 

And that's the only way out for a friendship to shine! 

Luckily, my tranquility conveyed a greater height, 

And I achieved a friend, who covered my black spot with a white, 

Who didn't desert me in a fight!

 Because " A friend is a complete package of devotion, 

A friend is a single water-droplet in the ocean, 

A friend is the universe of happiness entirely frozen, 

A friend is the flower's perfect blossom! "
