Finding Love
Finding Love
She was from the East
He from the far West
Cupid struck, they met
Love happened
Tied the knot
In Registrars office
No guests attended
Money was scare
Went to a cheap Motel
With a bottle of champagne
Popped open the bottle
"Cheers to our marraige"
Said the loving couple
Lying on the rickety bed
Plunged in darkness
Drenched in sweat
Bitten by bed bugs
Leaving red welts
Groom felt inadequate
Bride advised not to fret
All would turn out well
And it did turn out well
Two lonely people
Felt so blessed
Finding each other
When others had left
Dentures in glasses
smiled back at them
