Final Dustination
Final Dustination
Books arranged neatly in stacks
Collecting dust, mites to the fore.
There were times with books
He has spent many nights.
Cast away the intellectual mask he wore.
Book worm in him no more.
Now occupied with settling books
Of accounts of his life
Occasionally a game of Scrabble
With his wife.
His engagements now are with words
Life marches along in a verse.
Awaiting the eventual end
Perpetual cycle in life,
To the dust, finally, life shall send.
