Fear Of Maths
Fear Of Maths
"Well! The reason for my disaster in maths is that ",
I said to my father, who never liked my attitude towards maths.
Whenever, I see the paper,
Fear inside me takes over
Paper, 3 to 4 pages long,
Makes me sweat prolonged.
Anyhow, I start to attempt questions,
My mind face heap of problems.
But dearest papa, soon I remember, key of yours,
"Leave the questions in which you have problems".
Persist to continue to solve simple ones,
Leaving the sums in which I face problems.
Once done with the task,
Aiming again in little time creates a havoc.
What shall I do, with so many unattended sums,
Any how I revive the courage, sustaining dump.
Re exploring remaining monstrous sum,
I realize, time is over, when I see that examiner, 'Demon'.
Tired, frustrated I hand over the paper,
Dearest papa, it's all over.
Tears and fear fullfill my eyes.
I know I can do much better,
Just need a little support from my elders.
Hope you will understand me, papa,
As now I can see, across dark clouds, horizon of clear skies.
