Dreams To Die For

Dreams To Die For

While on the windswept shore I lay,

Basking in the moonlit night,

The luminescence of the stars made way

To a dream-divine right.

What I saw wasn't grand it seems,

But a shiver through me ran.

That night I dreamt a modest dream,

What if, man loved man.

No India, Timor or Niger,

No pundit, monk or father.

For man belongs to each other,

A world without border.

Where man spilled words of kindness,

And cheerfully blew smiles.

Oceans of peace flowed in wildness,

And thereafter roses grew for miles.

The India, black and white,

All played on a common ground.

Their hopes and dreams and sweet delight,

No wars would ever hound.

Let's crush all walls and conquer hate,

Let's all love, beyond we can.

The world would be in a better state,

If simply, man loved man.
