Display Of Respect
Disgrace of the fallen stars, take a look at all these scars;
Praying in times of despair, while they were the only moments to spare;
The hope flies high, for at least giving it a try;
The love we knew was only true;
The day we left, our hearts were in theft;
That day I saw my mother cry, She made it seem as if a sigh;
The form of my mother's love, took the form of a dove;
To the crowd that had amassed, Dreadful to hear my loving mother had passed;
The love she shared, showed how she cared;
The nights she slept, rest awake she kept;
Held my hand when I was sick, She was too and it never clicked;
Finally, became a man, till I die, my mother's biggest fan.
