Depth In Our Feelings....

It's the feeling of being part of something big that charms me,

The feeling of love that keeps all of us together that satisfies me,

It's not about the color of our skin, or where do we come from,

It's about the pride we have in being ourselves that encourages me,

It's been long since there has been complete harmony in this world,

Wars feel like it's never ending process,

And it is the suffering of the innocent people that angers me,

We live in a world where we get pushed almost every moment,

To the places that we never wanted to be,

The places that we never thought we could go,

It is the feeling of being motivated that gets me going,

Scars that were once a painful memory of a loss,

Those memories are the ones to remind me to never stop,

Nothing is comparable to the happiness we can share together,

It's the feeling of rising up to the occasion that gets me,

The world is our home, there is no doubt in our minds,

But are we doing enough to keep it and its people safe?
