Dear Mother
Dear Mother
I was but an infant,
When you put your hand in mine.
Saved me from the hands of evil,
And said everything shall be fine.
You pushed me through the path of life;
I always had you to fall back on.
You wiped away my life's darkness,
And showed me the rising dawn.
You care for me like no one does,
Like the rays of hope comes your name.
You remain one never citated,
While your contribution is the greatest all the same.
You keep me up on the right track of life,
And see I don't wander hither-thither.
I know I can never repay for your sacrifices,
Oh, how I love you, dear mother!
