City Lost Her Capacity
City Lost Her Capacity
As the city approaches, sights eye sore
Development of infrastructure they claim is the core
Earth get dug up, metro and buildings rise
A day may come in future the city you may praise
As of now chaos reigns, rulers say, prequel to the order
On the roads cacophony of horns, in frustration drivers rage, for peace a murder
You witness tempers flare, for drivers can’t display their driving flair
Dust fills up the air, two wheelers motorists find it settled on their hair
In this urban jungle home becomes your lair
Heaps of waste, one sees, fat deposits on the waist
Processed food, their packaging, root cause for both, as humans turn into sloth
What is in a city one may ask
You find jobs here only, that is a pity
Scavenging kites circle the air no shortage of food for them their populations nature doesn't hem.
Red Sun has risen, witnessing all in his daily task
Doesn't this frustrate him, one may tend to ask.
Trees make way for streets and buildings
Human greed can't be sated, remaining trees stand muted.
Once a city of lakes, now, nature it forsakes
The silicon valley copy city, it has lost her capacity.
