Childhood and Teenage
Childhood and Teenage
The first decade of my life, a time so divine,
With innocence and wonder, a treasure to find,
Where each day brought new joys, and simple pleasures,
A time of pure bliss, with no worldly pressures.
Oh, the memories of those childhood days,
Where laughter and play were the only ways,
To spend the hours in endless delight,
From dawn till dusk, 'til stars shone bright at night.
With friends and siblings, we ran and played,
In meadows and woods, where dreams were made,
Climbing trees, building forts, and chasing butterflies,
Imagination soaring, reaching the skies.
From scraped knees to dirty clothes,
Muddy puddles and runny noses,
Every adventure was worth the mess,
For in those moments, we felt truly blessed.
Our world was small, yet full of wonders,
Exploring nature's beauty and its thunder,
From watching ants crawl, to birds in flight,
Learning about the world with sheer delight.
But as we grew older, things began to change,
The world grew bigger, and life rearranged,
Teenage years brought new challenges and fears,
As we navigated through emotions and tears.
The pressure to fit in, the need to conform,
The fear of failure, the need to perform,
Navigating through friendships and first loves,
While facing uncertainty and push-and-shoves.
Sometimes we stumbled, and sometimes we fell,
But we learned to rise, and we learned to quell,
The doubts and fears that crept inside,
Drawing strength from the child within to confide.
Though teenage years were fraught with strife,
The memories of childhood brought solace to life,
For in those years of innocence and grace,
We found solace, in their warm embrace.
They shaped us into who we are today,
With values and lessons that still hold sway,
The importance of play, of laughter and joy,
Of curiosity, that's not just a childish ploy.
The magic of imagination, so wild and free,
The belief in dreams and endless possibility,
The purity of heart, the absence of malice,
The faith in goodness, with no hint of malice.
Oh, the superiority of those good old days,
Where life was simple, in so many ways,
Where love was unconditional, and hearts were pure,
Where the world was a canvas, with endless allure.
So, let us cherish those childhood years,
And hold onto the memories, so precious and dear,
For they are the foundation, the roots of our being,
A beacon of hope, that keeps us believing.
In the beauty of life, in the goodness of heart,
In the magic of dreams, that can never depart,
For those first ten years, a time so divine,
Will forever shine, as a treasure to define.
