Bittersweet

Bittersweet

1 min 346 1 min 346

Clouds of dust and smog, tryna hide,

Something mysterious, full of delight,

In the days of gloom, without light,

Nowhere to escape, nowhere to hide,

You gotta face, it's karma's rewind,

For time's hard and rattling winds,

Beauty of summit is worth the risks,

Reaching the top, with fear of heights,

Breaching the sky to see the light,

For all the excuses and the stories,

Keep telling yourself why you failed,

It's not the winds, it's not the terrain,

Not the wilderness, not the rain,

Just your temptation to hold comforts,

Not letting go, and grieving the past,

Be gusty, for you deserve the chance,

Shine like the sparkle of fireflies,

It's the last stand, don't tell yourself lies.

Comes the endgame, you played it right,

Loosing sometimes brings more delight,

For love of life, everything's justified,

You're weird, so take some pride,

Now you know what's being alive,

Don't restrain emotions, let tears run,

Ah! family's calling gotta take homerun,

Take a nap, wear an outfit of a smile,

Time well spent, some memories for life.
