Beauty is truth Truth is beauty
Beauty is truth Truth is beauty
Truth which never perishes
From my childhood, I am hearing
About beauty,
But I think always,
What is such beauty?
I am facing a lady,
I am saying that she is beautiful,
In poetic mind, I am not talking
About her visual value,
Of its form or its colors,
I speak what it transcends time
And is capable
Of seeing through language.
Here I remind
The statement Truth is beauty and
Beauty is truth,
Which I found in the poem-
Ode one a Grecian Urn -
Written by John Keats,
Who sees two pictures
On the two sides of an urn,
On one side there are young lovers
And musicians and
On the other side,
A number of pious people
Go to make a sacrifice
At a green alter,
And in the end of the poem,
Keats says
That the Urn gives
The message to humanity
-BEAUTY IS TRUTH.
TRUTH IS BEAUTY.
Here Keats tells
That the real beauty is truth,
And Truth alone is the beautiful one.
Truth alone is the real beauty and
The others may change and pass
And I pay more attention
To the core beauty
Rather than to the outer appearances,
As the real beauty of a thing,
Always lies on its permanence
And naturality,
Which is ultimate beauty in this world,
Because truth never perishes,
And all other things,
May seem to be beautiful,
But is not really beautiful
As they are perishable.
