And That Is How It Is!

You know those relationship counselors,

They hardly do a thing,

Sympathize,

Empathize,

And charge their fees,

Giving least hope,

To the client,

Ending up saying

“And that is how it is!”

You know those therapists,

They do the same thing all over again,

Talk of healing and hardly, do the same,

“It’s all life, it goes on, it’s all game”,

Prescribing some unwanted

Medicine stripes,

Stripping one’s inside apart,

Talking of the things in the

Most casual way,

Depressing further the already depressed patient,

For they end up saying those cliches,

Over-used phrases, and that unbearable smell

Of the clinic,

Each wall of it,

As though yelling,

Neither concerned nor caring,

Simply yelling:

“And that is how it is!”
