A Thousand Years
A Thousand Years
For a thousand years I wait,
I wait for you staring at the moon and the stars shinning in the weary sky,
With a hope to meet again at the space where we parted our ways.
For a thousand years I wait,
I wait with a lonely heart scrolling through the memories we shared,
For the love we sweared, the promise we made that we must not break,
For our love is beyond mortality.
For a thousand years i wait,
Reminiscing your last touch which made my skin feel the warmth,
My heart skipped a beat when you my king gazed at me.
We are dynasties apart with a whole galaxy between us,
For I fell in love with you who is thousand years apart,
It was not a dream but in life when we met.
For a thousand years i waited,
Until time and space have shattered
Mountains and streams have turned to ash,
Until my face has withered and heart lost its vigor.
My heart locked away outside the time's gate, awaiting your return.
I waited for a thousand years for just this once when,
When I can peacefully rest in your heart, I will neither fear rain nor wind,
Even if my body shatters, or if my soul gets scarred,
I will never regret true love.
I have known the love of the evening mists and the morning clouds,
But I only want your embrace.
We will travel across the vast heavens and the earth, I will freely fly with you,
If we ever again meet.
