A Mother's Happiness
A Mother's Happiness
She stood amidst the large crowd,
Swaying to the music and their flow,
She shed tears of happiness, and,
shouted his name her face a glow.
The singer was her son, she was proud,
Everyone has said, we see no talent,
Him, they were bitter,
But she was a mother she knew better,
And she spent sleepless night,
She would sell herself body and soul,
Tooth and nail she would fight,
So, he would reach his goal.
In the reality show his talent outshone
Others,
Making her one of the proudest mothers'
There was no looking back he was a rock star,
She watched with tears from afar.
The son on seeing his mother, walked
down the stage,
And walked through the crowd,
They wondered where he was going,
he who was a rage,
Then standing in front of his mother, said, I am proud
You gave me everything, kept nothing
you went through hell,
You made me what I am today, you are
my inspiration,
You saw my rise, but so many times
You fell,
You sacrificed, so I could reach my
destination,
He took her hand and they walked
together,
And the applause this time was for
the mother.
