A Little Short of Common

We see things everyday

But few notice them truly

As the hearts and minds of the common

Are tied to the sort

A common view

A common opinion

A common thought

And a common understanding

The things that are unusual

Erratic and spontaneous

Lurks within the shadows

Deep away from the common things

It only gets worse as time goes on

The common becomes more common

And the unusual gets weirder

No distinction can be drawn
