A Journey (Part 1)

I am on a peregrination,

not to a sea,

or to a location.

It is a journey of 'LIFE'.

I stood,

on the mystifying,

alley of life,

with my bag clinched,

to be filled with,

unpredictable surprise(s).

I strode and trudged,

I fell down.

I picked myself up,

and strode on again.

I had fun,

I had pain.

There was something I lost,

There was something I gained.

I wondered if these,

did me a good turn?

So, I looked over my bag,

to make out,

what I verily had.

There glowed some,

presents beyond price,

I earned by,

the falls,

by the runs,

by the ones,

that held me up,

by the ones,

that let me down,

and by the ONE,

Mother Nature.

Here is the meaning of a word that was new to me too, which I used in this poem to make it finer and more comprehensible for the readers.

Peregrination: A journey, especially one that is long and full of twists and turns.

Moving on, this part of my poem describes what we all feel stepping on the path of life .It is indeed a beaut journey but as my father says, it takes a lot of hard work, persistence and suffering to make it the way we want.
