A Break
A Break
Parasailing amidst our challenges,
The crooked roads,
topsy turvy barrages,
I owe a space, a space so small;
To take a break to soar above the valleys
Take a break to dive below the sea.
Muffled in our own expectations,
Fighting with only our loved ones,
Wreaking our own lives to break
Caressing our own conscience to wake.
Those surging trees reaching the sky,
Keeps me boosted to fly,
Those rocks against the river's lashes
Keeps me stick to my handful bunch,
Till burning into ashes;
The continuum of the muffling waters
Keeps me moving no matter how the situation can leave me shattered,
The breeze so serene,
Makes forget the downs, however umpteen.
I take from here the silence
The upheaval to every fall,
To bow humbly to every brawl,
Letting the time behold my gratitude,
Letting the time fly,
Waving this place a very goodbye.
