A Billion Dream
A Billion Dream
I wonder how I dream
In the dicey vastness!
Like the Sun burning for a gleam,
Or like a star twinkling for the thoughtless!
I dream with my wide eyes
In the incessant darkness -
To the glow of my soul's essence
In the deepest happiness.
I am anxious about the core
Can my dreams fly? OR
Will they cut my feathers
To crawl down to my woes!
I speak less, I value more -
I don't blame anyone.
I admire my life
And dream all day!
I am not lone anymore
When I open my eyes to dream!
They give me wings
Not to fly but to stay grounded!
I burn, with every dream
Like those stars for the mindless.
Why did I wonder? They said,
"I am meant for you only".
My dream is my own,
The only language I feel,
The only poem I paint,
The only success I foresee!
