Cool Dude And His Lucky Locket

Josh was famous at school. Everyone used to call him the cool dude. He thinks he is cool because he has something special with him which is his Lucky Locket. He used to hold on to his locket all time.

During exams he thinks holding on to the lucky locket will get him good marks. and so did he. In fact he used to get good grades and he he thinks its all because of the locket.

One day he had lost his locket somewhere and he could not find it. His friends and family helped him to search for it and they could not find the lucky locket.

Unfortunately it was exams from the next day . Josh even though has studied, was worried he would not get good grades as his lucky locket was not with him.

After the exams, he went through a horrible day. Josh slipped into a puddle and got wet and injured his arms. He started saying everything was because his lucky locket was not with him. His best friends were with him all time and tried cheering and he still was upset. He lost hope of getting his lucky locket.

With all support from his friends and family, he tried to build up self confidence and tried not to depend on the locket. The next day Josh had a football match and he believed he can do it and won the match and Josh was the one who scored maximum goals.

By that time his exam results were also announced and Josh ended up getting good grades. At this point is where he realised he does not need to hold on to the lucky locket for his success. Things went on well and he was the same cool dude at school again.

During his school holidays when he was cleaning all his tables, he found the lucky locket . It was below the table stuck to a chewing gum. Yuck said Josh, its all sticky. He took it and cleaned it and kept it back on his book rack.

He smiled to himself and said he does not need to hold on to the locket all time for success. He realised self-confidence, hard work and believing in himself is everything a person has to do to be successful and cool.

He said to his friends and family that luck is within us and we need to find it. Luck does not come from a material that we hold. He winked at his mom and then ran out to play with his friends.
