Unique Hobby

There was a boy whose name was Peter. He was very shy and did not have any friends. He used to be sad at his school as well as at his home. His mom was worried that if something is not done immediately he will be lost. She thought day and night about it, then an idea struck her.

From next day onwards she started cooking so many varieties of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She looked so cheerful and happy while serving him and her dad. Even his dad noticed that she was so happy in spite of cooking so much food dishes. This went on for a few days, the atmosphere of the house was good, cheerful and her mom so so happy. Peter thought why can't I be happy similarly. He asked mom that in spite of working so hard you are looking so happy, mom please tell me what is the secret. His mom told him " Peter cooking is my new hobby and I am enjoying doing that because of which I never feel tired ".Peter was amazed he asked " Mom if I like to do something and I feel happy in that, is it a hobby ". She replied, " Yes Peter just develop one hobby and see how everything changes".

Peter thought about it day and night and he knew in his heart very well that he longed to be among a group of friends. So he decided to start a hobby of making friends. He developed a diary and decided that in his school and everywhere wherever he goes he will start making friends. And when a friend is made he will write everything about him. The next day he started with his attempt, he went to one of the boys in his class who had not brought tiffin, he went and sat near him and told him " Ashutosh you can share my tiffin my mom has given me so much to eat. Ashutosh was glad and he thanked him and ate with him. After eating Ashutosh asked him " Peter, why dont you talk with anyone in the class, can we be friends? Hearing this Peter was so delighted that he shook hands with him and both chatted merrily for the rest of the recess. Peter went home and opened his diary and wrote about Ashutosh. Peter now stared feeling bold and in a few days his diary was full and he brought another one. He used to look so happy and cheerful always. Seeing him his mom understood that her idea had worked.

In a few day's time Peter was the favorite of all the students in the class, his teachers were shocked with sudden change but were happy for him. Friends, I think everyone has to have one hobby in their life which they enjoy doing it , having an hobby keeps you happy, cheerful, occupied.
