Chaos: Beginning Of A New Life

Rohini was a medical student of class 12. She was living with her uncle and aunt. After her parents died in a car accident, it was only them who supported her. They took care of her, her needs and everything. The only thing that she lacks was love and respect. She always wondered why did they adopt her when they didn't love her? But, she couldn't dare to ask them.

It was early winter. Her uncle and aunt went for a wedding leaving her in the veranda only. She was alone at home. She sobbed the whole night cursing her destiny for snatching her parents and putting her to that hell. She slept crying only. When she woke up in the morning, she felt weak and dizziness. But, she thought it was normal. So she didn't pay any heed to it.

Next month, she had a severe stomach ache, she again thought it was normal or maybe her periods were about to come. But, she skipped her periods. She waited for about 15 days, but she didn't bleed. As she was a medical student, she knew how important it was for her to seek the doctor. But, she hides it from her aunt.

When she visited the gynecologist, her world came crashing down. Life was there breathing inside her. She didn't know how it happened. Even the gynecologist was shocked. Rohini fainted there only. When she got consciousness, the doctor told her and consoled her,

"You have been raped. I request you to tell me the scenario clearly."

"But....how could it happened. I didn't remember anything. How is this even possible?"

She cried aloud.

" Maybe the person belonged to your family."

" I don't remember anything doctor. "

" You are one month pregnant. You were already nurturing the fetus for about one month."

Rohini got another shock. It was hard for her to believe everything.

"One month... But... doctor, believe me ...I don't know who he was, how it had happened. And, my uncle and aunt didn't leave me alone at all.

Except on that wedding night. I was alone at home that night. In the morning, I was feeling somewhat weak but I ignored it."

"See, this could probably happen on that night only."

"But, doctor...who it could be. I didn't have any personal fight with anyone. And moreover, what about the bloodstains and all."

" I couldn't say anything, my child. Maybe the rapist is someone in your family. And, he had removed all the evidence just to be safe."

The doctor gave her another appointment and she left.

A bunch of questions arose in her innocent mind.

'What would happen if her uncle and aunt came to know about this..? What about her respect? Did she get impure? Who will accept her after knowing the truth? They gonna kill her...She had destroyed their respect too.? Whom it could be? Why that guy did that? And, what she gonna do carrying this body in her uterus?? Everyone gonna judges her ?? Should she abort it ?? She didn't even know his father. Even, it will be illegitimate. Why give him that hell life, which she was facing? How she would support him? How she could hide it? Should she tell this to her aunt ?? They would curse her parents too. Then, what will she do? Should she report it to the police?? Should she filed a case of being raped?? How the evidence could be cleared if that person was some outsider?? Someone from the family must be involved in this.

While she was thinking about all this, she reached home. Her condition told itself that she had cried for hours, there were some different fear and revengeful spark in her eyes. She asked her aunt about that wedding.

Her aunt felt a little discomfort but she told her. After that, she asked her how she got remembered for the wedding suddenly after a month. Rohini was quiet. Rohini just nodded. After asking indirectly for a couple of times, her aunt revealed that she had asked her nephew to take care of her, who lived nearby, as she was alone for the whole night.

Within a second, her aunt realized her mistake but was still asking why did she ask her.

Rohini kept silent and after that, she changed the topic very cleverly.

After two days, she visited the doctor again and asked her help. The doctor gave her some suggestions that she needs to collect the evidence about her being raped and that her aunt was involved in all of it. One of her knowns was in the police, so they could help her. Rohini started having mood swings, cravings but she tried to control herself.

She decided to talk to her uncle about it. She was waiting for the right time. Her uncle was out of town for last three days. She got her right time in the evening. When she was just about to talk to him, she listened to their conversation.

" Listen, Rohini had some doubts about that wedding night. She asked me several times. "

" What? How did she get those doubts? I hope you had managed everything?"

"Actually.....I am sorry. My tongue slipped and I told her that we had talked to Shobhit to take care of her in our absence."

"What ...??? How could you be so dumb? If she doubted a little more, we all gonna be in jail. Do you even realize your blunder, you bloody fool??"

"I m sorry..."

Her aunt pleaded in front of her husband.

"Let me think about it now and get lost from here."He replied rudely.

Rohini listened to all of their conversations. She got another revelation that her uncle and aunt, both were involved. Next some days, Rohini was unwell. But she managed to hide her pregnancy from everyone. It was regarding some work that Shobhit visited them again. Rohini was furious at him. Even her aunt tried not to let both of them meet.

Rohini thought of a plan. She got ready. Although she remained simply dressed all the time, still some simple dresses suit her that could reveal her curves sharply. Even she wore deep neck kurta, that could reveal her cleavage and this was enough for Shobhit to get excited. Her aunt was unknown to Rohini 's plan. But, was aware that what Shobhit was up to. Shobhit was trying to get chances to get close to her and aunt was trying to keep them separate every time.

Rohini sat in a separate room. Her aunt pulled Shobhit to one side and slapped him.

" Do you even know what you had done? You were going to do that again."

" What's wrong in that? You already knew how much I liked her. See her curves with my eyes. They are full of lust and energy. They are waiting to be touched by me. Last time, she couldn't know that something of this sort happened. But, I want to touch her in her presence of mind. I don't want to rape her but I was not having any other option left with me. Believe me, just one more chance, I want to conquer her body. Please let me. I am sure she would love it. She would love me ."

"Stop your shitty nonsense. She hates you. And I don't want to pay for your nonsense. Your uncle and I, are trying hard to keep all of us safe and you want all of us to be in problem once again. Have you lost your mind? Last time also, we came at the right time and we save you, I had cleared all the blood spots and I had thrown torn clothes. I also gave her some energy tablets when she was lying lifelessly on the bed. We had done so much just to save you. It was good that God was with us. But, not necessarily every time. Please try to understand. You know, she already had some doubts regarding that night. Do you want all of us to be in jail ??"

"But, how she even doubted. We had removed all the evidence."

" I don't know that. Just stay away from us for some time and let me find out, what's the matter."

Rohini visited the doctor that day and signed on some papers. She sobbed a lot that day. The next day, police arrested all three of them under various IPC charges. When they asked what they had done, the police showed them a Clip.

It was like ' they had the rug swept under their feet.'

The aunt was not able to believe herself. It was her and Shobhit's conversation.

She was wondering how it happened. When they saw no chance of escape, all three of them accepted their crime and were sent to jail.

The next day, Rohini went to the doctor. As soon as she entered the cabin, the doctor congratulates her for her victory and presence of mind.

She started crying again. The doctor consoled her and calmed her down. She took her to the Operation Theatre.

That day, Rohini not just got justice, but also the turmoil of thoughts ended after two months when that developing fetus ended. After that, she was sent to a female self-center for her recovery.

Her mind got harmony after a long period of sleepless nights, screaming for days.
