Appreciation (part three)

Continued from part two...

He was getting popular day by day. Within a time span of 6 months, he reached the hearts of millions of people, not only in India but also in other countries.

Neetu decided to move ahead in life. So she proposed Sahil for marriage. She was sure that Sahil would immediately say yes. But, she was wrong. The day she proposed Sahil was hectic for him in his recording studio. Moreover, he didn't want to marry. He outbursted at her. She was shocked. She couldn't understand what had happened to him. She couldn't find 'her Sahil'. She decided to talk to him later.

Next day, he visited her and asked for an apology. He explained his point of view. His career graph was rising. At that time, he couldn't take such a big risk. She wasn't ready to listen to anything but he calmed her down. He asked her to think practically. They both were high in their respective career and one wrong decision could destroy it all. Neetu explained her side too. She didn't want to hurt him but wanted a settled life with him. Her family was already doing groom hunting. She didn't want to marry anyone else except him. Sahil listened to her calmly and asked for some time to think upon it. Neetu was upset but still, she gave him some time.

 In the night, Sahil gave her a message. He asked her out for a long drive and a surprise too. Neetu expected that he might have agreed upon marrying her. That night seemed to be way too long for both of them. 

In the morning, she woke up and get well dressed. She was really excited. Meanwhile, he was nervous and he prayed to God for the best. He didn't want to lose her as he loved her a lot and it was she only because of whom he was able to trust himself. He credited all his success to the love of his life.

He texted her that he would be reaching in 5 minutes. She checked herself in the mirror for the one last time. She was blushing badly. Even the slightest thought of him could make her cheeks red. She was waiting for this moment from such a long time. She was fascinating how he gonna propose her and how she would say a big yes. She thought that even he should feel the pain of rejection. So she planned something kiddish and after seeing his reaction, she would surprise him.

She saw outside from her window. He was standing beside his car. He was looking very handsome. She blushed again and came running down the stairs. When she opened the gate, he was mesmerized by her beauty once again, just like the old times. She was wearing a pink dress which he bought for her when his first salary. He couldn't believe his eyes. She told him she would wear it only on some special occasion and she wore it today. She came and gestured him to bring him back to reality. Even his sight made her forget about her kiddish plan of rejecting him.

He asked her to sit in the car. They went for a long drive. She was expecting him to start the conversation but he didn't. On the other side, he didn't want to start the conversation. He knew that she would come to that point but he wanted to run from that point only. He was sweating badly in the presence of ac in the car. She couldn't control her excitement and asked him to disclose the surprise. He asked her to be a little patient. He took her to her favorite restaurant and ordered food for both of them. She was enjoying all the attention he was giving her.

He gave her a letter because he wasn't ready to confront her with his feelings. She was shocked and a tear left her eye.
