I wish to belong

to the moment

where the mind

remains free from shackles

follows instinct

and flows like ..

a bubbly river

incessant in its spate

I wish to

make time for..

lazy wanderings

in idyllic surrounding

spend hours together

gazing at ebb and flow

inhale pure air

cool breeze

collect pebbles of different size

and throw them back

to the sea

I wish to belong 

to the state

where dew filled eyes

stand no more

for sorrow and suffering

rise above sobs and sighs

surfeit of happiness

fills platter

life remains a delicious treat

melts in mouth

like caramel pudding

where power softens

rough edges

uses its sheen

to harness betterment

yields progress

enhances bright hues

as well as pastel shades.
