In Search Of God
In Search Of God
Walking in search of God,
Miles apart I walked.
But barely I could find him
Not even a single footprint.
Exhausted I sat on a stone,
Feeling myself a bit torn.
Thought to do some meditation
To understand his creation.
But hardly I could sense anything.
No sound came from within.
Soon I met a woman, offering me
The glass of water from her can.
She asked me to quit my search,
Surprised how she could perch.
I asked her if she had an answer
To the question that made me torcher.
Smilingly looking at me,
She said can't you see.
She claimed herself one to be
And I was laughing at her thought.
How can she be God?
I thanked her and went on again
But she asked me to still refrain.
God existed nowhere on earth
Except for his creations heart.
But ignoring her, I started again,
But all my efforts went in vain.
In last after drenching in pain,
I realized that I was lame.
Listening to my heartbeat
I found where God finally lived.
Why wandering in search of Him
When he lives within.
Just close your eyes and feel him
Your powers to breath and live
Is only possible when he is in.
All you need is to keep your heart clean.
